VOLKSWAGEN INDUSTRIAL ENGINE DIVISION ORDERS CACS FROM TCT

Thermal Control Technologies Corp. (ASE:TCT NASD OTC PINK SHEETS:TCTCF) is pleased to announce that Volkswagen Industrial Engine Division has completed controlled testing of a prototype Charge Air Cooler for a high efficiency 110 H.P. industrial engine which is new in North America. The engine will be used in various applications including stationary generators. Since meeting or exceeding all of their specifications, Volkswagen Industrial Engine Division has placed its initial order for CAC part number 125145805A.

During the month of February, Thermal Control Technologies Corp. introduced two new Charge Air Coolers. These models cover Western Star and Freightliner Class 8 heavy-duty trucks. TCT's expanded product lines now cover approximately 25% of the Class 8 trucks on the road. These two new models will cover an additional 21 OEM part numbers for which the TCT CAC can be used as an aftermarket replacement. TCT will be introducing four additional lines of Charge Air Coolers during the first half of 1999.

TCT is a manufacturer of advanced heat exchange equipment for sale and distribution into the automotive, heavy duty truck and industrial equipment, agricultural and marine engine aftermarkets. TCT's major product is a line of revolutionary Charge Air Coolers for aftermarket installation on Class 8 heavy-duty trucks and on buses. TCT is also an OEM supplier of complete cooling systems to heavy-duty trucking and industrial manufacturers of remote power generation systems.
