Marcotte's legacy is curious.
Today's news was shocking (hence the sell-off) and the PR certainly didn't reveal anything substantive about what really went down. It certainly looks like he was kicked out, with cause. Did anyone call SNRS to get the details lacking in the news piece?
I just ran over to EDGAR to get some background on Marcotte. He's 42, was elected as a class II director at SNRS last year, held options for over 76,000 shares, and, get this, seems to make a habit of not lasting long at any job. According to the last 10k, he'd been with five different comapnies in the last seven years.
I'm all for moving up the corporate ladder, but this behavior suggests a problem, especially for someone in this capacity. In my days as a hiring manager, job-hopping was a big red flag, and Marcotte's seems to have made a career out of it.
This definitely doesn't pass the smell test. Is there another shoe to drop?
