I will have strongly disagree with him! The main reason is that commodity prices have firmed and they won't crash like 1998. Though there is some deflation talk, if you add up all variables, we are still inflationary ( 1 -2 % at least!). The U.S economy is in very good shape. Japan is picking up. The Asian flu is gone and growth from now on will be slow but steady. Short term - I see a 20 - 30 % rise in the oil service sector. The small caps in this sector should double or more by end of 2000. So if you want blowout returns, stick with small caps like Input/output (IO) that are definitely going to double. GLM is a sure double by the end of 2000, maybe even sooner!
Today's 7+ million volume for GLM is the harbinger!
