Motorola's got the Iridium project - satellites all over the place. 3COM is just starting by going through ISPs. They've had years to develop and miniturize the technology. I wouldn't be suprised if there wasn't a Motorola chip in that device you were talking about. They've cornered the market on cell communication. -Bill_H
