What a luxury to revel in the sporadic failure of an expensive purchase! Perhaps if this were a sporadically seizing car engine, or maybe an occasionally "freezing" hot water heater, you might prefer refund rather than conjecture! I design, implement and support mission critical business systems, and I have a very low tolerance for defective technology, particularly clone or "bargain" PC's sold by "perplexed" salespeople. Did you by chance edit or attempt to "clean" the Windows registry, or delete any DLL's with your third party software, like Norton You-kill-it-ease?
