San Francisco City and California Govts not happy
with Wells Fargo. Also Gore's vision of urban renewal will require megabanks to be better corporate citizens and not endlessly reduce services.

Wells Fargo is about to get the message in no uncertain terms that the community expects financial intermediaries to live up to Fair Credit and non-discriminatory access to finance that the computerized zipcode-based screening has built to bolster bank profits.

There are some very angry City supervisors and governors out for Wells Fargo blood, and this is not going to be a pretty picture for bank profits for some years.
