NOVELL INC. president and COO Joseph Marengi said he met two weeks
ago with Charles Wang, chairman of COMPUTER ASSOCIATES INTL, to
hammer out a partnership that would integrate its ManageWise product with CA's fast-growing Unicenter systems management software, a leading player in the business. "We are going to try to work out a deal," he said of the meeting with Wang. Marengi said he expects to extend the reach of its own ManageWise product to cover all major software platforms. Marengi was speaking to an investor conference in New York on Thursday. (Reuters 07:08
