Of course all must realize that the purpose of the tournament is not to find the 'best' team (we already know that is Duke)

Beg to differ. Duke is definitely the favorite, but let's not forget that UConn's first loss, to Syracuse, came when they lost two starters to injury: All-American Hamilton and their big man Voskuhl. They later blew away Syracuse twice at the end of the season. Their only other loss was by a mere two points to Miami and, again, Voskuhl was injured (although he did play about ten minutes worth). At full strength and with El-Amin hitting his shots (he's great but a bit inconsistent) I have no doubt they can beat Duke.

But that's why they play the games!
