Bill Parish (www.billparish.com) has done an excellent job of explaining how Microsoft adds billions of dollars to its cash hoard through the exploitation of an arcane tax loophole relating to its excessive use of employee options. It is an issue that few investors understand. I've also brought this issue to the attention of some investors over the past two months and have been delighted to give Bill full credit for some fine work.

Of late, a few reporters have finally started to dig into this situation. Check out an article by Nigel Jaquiss found at www.wweek.com which I think does a good job of explaining the issue.
I suspect that this can of worms may become of interest to a broader cross section of investors as it becomes more widely understood.

If members of the thread are not aware of this situation, I'd be glad to summarize it.
