I have seen it where my buying power did not change for a week at time - according to their display anyway.

Did you attempt to buy anything with the money that was "impounded" due to open orders?

Even though they assured my that my funds were available and I had no open orders I was denied a buy and a previously canceled good for the day order which was over two months old screwed things up for me.

I just got back from the Bay area however and I have got to hand it to them. Two days or so before I left I let them know I was withdrawing my account. When I got in Late monday night there among the other mail was a check from E Trade for all my cash.

Now if they get me my Stock Certificates with the same kind of service and flawless performance I might even reconsider spending my days aiding and promoting their demise. <g>
