Confirmation woes:

My confirmations go to four places.
My Etrade alerts, two email accounts and my pager.

Now I'm used to slow confirmations, but for two trades a while back I never received ANY confirmation. Never.

I wrote them and the response (two weeks later) was,
"We sent them. You just didn't read them."

Now couldn't they just admit that they might have messed up?

I was livid. I called and talked to the usual cocky young kid who confirmed, "I'm sure we sent them."

I talked to a manager who said, "I just looked in your Etrade Classic mailbox and there are a lot of unread messages there."
I told him I don't use Classic.

He said I should check there before claiming that they didn't send me confirmations.
