Actually Steve, EFAX does have free fax software as well. Check out hotsend.com What that site gives you is software that allows you to send an email with an attachment that is created from a hot send button that installs on all PC applications when you first put hotsend on your computer.

So, say you want to send someone a fax of a spreadsheet that you are working on, but you don't want to send them the whole file or all the worksheets. Joe Bob says NO PROBLEM! Just click on the hotsend logo in the upper right hand of that application and viola!, your email pops up, you load the dudes name in and off the email goes with a gif of your spreadshseet.

It can work with any application. On the receive end, the user needs only an email and browser to view the email/fax, the email carries it's own little viewer app. If the recipient wants to print it out, they just hit print and it's done (WYSWG). Cool, eh?
