That's ridiculous! If Intel ceded the low end to amd, amd might be trading at 200 with intel at 50. That would have allowed breathing room for amd to eventually threaten in more lucrative portions of the market. Even though celerons reduce Intel's ASP's I believe they add incremental profit as opposed to amd shipping money with every chip they sell.
