Like yourself and everyone else on this thread, I am frustrated with DGIV. Am I nervous....heck yes because, despite the progress I believe JC has made during the last several months, this is still a very speculative stock!!! I think DGIVinvestor summed up today what a lot of us have felt a long time about DGIV. Do I still think JC will pull this out? YES!!
I NEVER said that Mr. D is a "superhero". But the fact remains he has helped this company out and without his help DGIV's price would be a lot lower.
Has some of his posts been off in regard to timing??? Yes they have. But the difference between Mr. D., whom I have met several times, and several of the hypsters who posted last year on this thread, is that I sincerely believe that Bill has never posted anything on this thread for his personal gain. HE DOESN"T NEED TO!! He has tried to help people with his posts and PM's. He's been, like most of us, over-enthustiastic at times but I do not believe he has ever tried to deliberately hype this stock. To me, that is the major difference between him and the many hypsters that we have had on this thread.
Let's not forget, he does not run this company...he is only an investor...a very large investor but still only an investor. Therefore, I think it is ludicrous for anyone to blame the lack of performance on this stock on him!!
Do I care about his wealth? No, but I do respect the fact that he worked very hard throughout his life and has built, with the help of his daughters, a very successful snack food distribution company!!
In closing, you have alluded twice today that " there are certain "coincidences" I have unearthed here that make me believe that Primrose Lane here has many a thorn."
Like Woody, I have an operable PM. I would appreciate hearing either on this message board or through a PM your additional comments on these "coincidences".
