With that logic, since in the absense of unnatural death we all die NATURALLY, then why is it bad to kill someone? They're going to die NATURALLY sometime anyway, if someone or something doesn't kill them beforehand.

And therein lies the rub. At what point does a baby have its own rights? It has an independent heartbeat (25 days), which can beat on even when the Mother's is very dramatically slowed to a seeming stop (super-cooling the blood with a circulation machine). It kicks. It feels pain. It has a brain, with brainwaves (10 weeks).

At some point you're killing a person. Have you ever heard of a saline-abortion survivor? I have heard one speak eloquently. She was 17 years old, and her mother had tried to have her aborted, but she survived. Then there is the one-armed girl living in New York. Her arm was cruelly cut off while she was still in the womb. An abortion doctor was her misfortune to be the first human she came into contact with, at her mother's wishes. All legal. Just like NOW and Planned Parenthood want. That girl sued the Abortion doctor, charging him with assault and battery. The press named him "the Butcher of Avenue A".
