Earlie, I would hope this runaway market would scare the Fed Chairman into doing something. MB He did try something. On Monday he had a reserve board member comment in the afternoon that that the Fed could raise rates at any time -- in other words without the continued release of strong economic data first: biz.yahoo.com It looks like the market saw right through that scare tactic. The sentiment appears to be that Greenspan won't let the market fall on his watch.
