Eddie - I'm back from Charlotte!

Have to give your Dookies credit - one hell of a team. I don't see anyone touching them. Too focused, talented and prepared.

Also have to admit that I was wrong about your boy Avery. He is going to be a very good pro - as long as he doesn't get lost with the wrong team. He is taller than he appears, shoots better than any point in college and is a terrific finisher. I'm not a fan, because he does play for Dook, but I have to respect the skill.

I had midcourt, second row seats for the final - rooted for my boys but they were outmanned. Without Capel healthy, they are a different squad. I do have to say, however, watch out for next year. They return everyone (minue Ok) and bring in Forte from DeMatha. Lang will be a superstar and Haywood gets better every year.

My UNC hook-up got me tickets to the first two rounds in Seattle. I expect them to get to the Sweet 16, like usual. I only wish UNC got the draw Maryland did. I just don't think Gary can get them in to the Final Four, even with the talent.

Here is the pick - watch for Gonzaga to beat Minnesota and then shock the world with an upset of Stanford.
