Effective March 1999, Jones Soda has been authorized in the chain of
Albertson's Inc. for all of Oregon and parts of Idaho, Nevada and Wyoming.
Effective this week, Albertson's has officialy listed Jones in 55 stores in
the state of Oregon as well as an additional 45 stores covering the region
from Boise, Idaho south to Reno, Nev. and east to Jackson, Wyo. Roll out of
Jones in the 55 Albertson's stores in Oregon coincides with the new
distribution through Portland Bottling Co. that has statewide coverage.
Albertson's Inc. is one of the largest retail food-drug chains in the
United States. Based in Boise, Idaho, Albertson's currently operates 986
stores in 25 of the Western, Midwestern and Southern states in the United
States.
