Christine you speak of" freedom of speech" and then demand that christians do not talk about their beliefs...Too "offensive" You talk of enormous "respect"...and then Verbally dismember piece by piece" words" and" phrases"...that in your Opinion...are offensive...even Collectivity You talk about making it "comfortable" for those who post here...but christians must be "Careful"..not to mention anything concerning christianity....No matter How "Remote"...walking on eggs is not comfortable... You boast of "Tolerance"....but refuse to allow a christian be a christian... All OTHER beliefs are permitted and OPEN for discussion Offensive?....yes my good friend....Much of what is on this thread is very offensive,To all God loving christians.....But this is America...The land of the free and the home of the brave...And tolerance really is the hallmark of Jesus Christ.... The New America?....Freedom of Speech is an"Absolute" right as long as....It has NOTHING to do with christianity....and pagans and other Non-christians will decide what is Christianity...God help us....what have we become?. You are NO threat to me Christine, no threat at all....But from your attitude It appears that maybe you consider christianity a threat to you... Christine you and I have been down this road before, and I told you then as I tell you now....what you have chosen for yourself in life is what you have to live with.My commission is not to Attempt to convert you....I have told you before at least 5 times....I cannot do that....ONLY God can...I know my place in life And I have not asked you to mediate anything.....I have always been able and willing to do my own mediating...This thread is no exception I only made mention of another post to you because you saw fit to agree with the other person in saying that I "got carried away"...You still have not pointed out that post in which you say I did that..... To sum up this post I would like to remind you of the legal battle between. Flynt and Mr. Falwell....The court ruled that "Offensive Language is of a subjective and personal nature"...and Cannot be measured or defined in any rational way....and .therefore Really does not Exist.... Flynt ofcourse won that battle....and even though Mr. Falwell was "Terribily Offended"...By flynts reprehensible degrading remarks....he just did not have a leg to stan on...Court said that Falwell just had to take it on the Chin.... So you see Christine.....Your man flynt and his atty ..set precedent.... He won the right to Say what he wanted about whomever he wanted no matter how offensive it was.and that right was extended to all in America.....NOT EVEN HE CAN HAVE IT BOTH WAYS... I say this only to point out that what" we" believe to be offensive doesn't matter....If you said that you did not like "brown eye"...welll some one could be so offended by that ...they might pass out and fall in the street and get hit by a Mack truck...but hey...you can't be held responsible for theiir..SENSITIVITY"....I do not intend to use this decision of the cts. to bring to this feeling thread any teachings of christianity...You know that is not my way Chriatine....Not in the Past and not in the future......My time on this thread is very, very limited......I do not come here to enlighten........I come to be enlightened!!....... Now those are my feelings..... In love and peace Shalom...><> PS....Millions of christians also Tolerate...as you have stated.".Reasonable decible levels" of pagan conversations....Not to mention...Unreasonable and Loud cries of some banshees...
