While there were many Kuwaiti's who fled to other countries, there were many others who stayed and fought alongside the coalition forces. Others didn't have a chance to leave and suffered through the occupation.

Those who left and did not participate in the "liberation" of Kuwait are not as revered as those who stayed.

No offence but, Are you as young and naieve as your words seem to indicate?
