Greetings, SA - I checked NASDAQ's website and could find no list of ticker convention rules re: the "F" so emailed the company itself. An overnight response was waiting for me this AM (Thanks, Rich. Not all companies check their email so quickly). Apparently, NASDAQ changed its rule requiring foreign companies to have an "F" so Aladdin decided to drop it. I understand that Aladdin, like many other foreign companies, trades primarily if not exclusively via NASDAQ (that is, it trades on no other formal securities market) so the "F" had been used to identify such companies. In today's global marketplace, and since investors should check out a company before buying it, anyway, I'm not sure what marginal benefit the "F" adds anymore.
Regards,
Harry
