IMHO I had the feeling that $30 to $31 would be the bottom, unless some really bad news broke. $30 is a 20 PE for $1.50 earnings and a $50b Market Cap. The $30 price has a lot of bad news built into it. Sliding much below $30 would indicate a very sick company, or Compaq being caught in a market correction at the wrong time. Right now the bad news is rumor and not fact. Hopefully the rumor doesn't turn into fact. Hopefully the facts come out at something like $10b sales and $.37 earnings and Compaq gets back on track for $60 this year.

As always, it is great to get your TA reading. If the bottom falls out, I'll put my buy orders in at $24. <g>
