OTOT: Michael and Fred and Scumbria: thanks much for all your thoughts. Whew, the only thing more difficult than being a father of a child in this dizzying age of internet time and intense competition is to be that kid growing up. I have often thought that it is much harder growing up today than even when we were growing up, being that we are swimming in so much information, and which is bombarded at the kids, and who are expected to rapidly and accurately assimilate all of it just to keep up with their peers. In becoming whizkids of technology, have the kids sacrificed anything?
