Mikros Systems Corporation Issues an Announcement
PRINCETON, N.J., March 11 /PRNewswire/ -- Mikros Systems Corporation (OTC Bulletin Board: MKRS - news) is pleased to announce the appointment of Robert M. Lansey as President of Mobile Broadcasting Corporation (MBC). MBC, which is jointly owned by Safeguard Scientifics (NYSE: SFE - news) of Wayne, PA, and Mikros Systems Corporation, will be marketing the AM data broadcasting technology currently being developed by the Company.
As President of DTS Wireless between 1991 and 1998, Mr. Lansey formed, led and sold the businesses of this private company that marketed ZAP-IT(TM), a wireless Internet e-mail service. He has been involved in the wireless and data communications industries since the early 70's, beginning with pioneer work in satellite communications systems. He has held management positions at RCA, GTE and General DataComm.
