Jeff, You might be right. If it drops below 55, 53 will be the new trading range. However, 53 wouldn't be a very strong support, a drop to 45 would be more likely after it break 55. I noticed that the selling kind of stalled on Fri., after a two day 17% drop, then resumed in the last 30 min of trading. Looks like someone is waiting the stock to pick up again next week, then sell it. If that's true, the stock might break the 55 after a brief pick up.

Longer term, I don't see a up trend. I think the stock is topping. A head and shoulder pattern is in formation. It's time for AMER holders to take their profit now, then come back later. At least i would do so.

Frank

I don't hold a position in AMER.
