"TA" = Technical Analysis. It's a subject that's too 'off-topic' and too long to go into here. But there are other threads on SI devoted to TA discussions. You'll either find them very interesting or totally irrelevant (which is how I view astrological predictions of stock price movements, but that's a whole different topic!). The one-word description of TA: Charting.
