Chill dude. When Dell did the same thing for power supplies on a couple of my laptops it didn't bother me. In the case of the Dell supplies they were trying to save me from electrocution if one of the connectors failed.
In Iomega's case it looks like the vendor substituted a different plastic for the enclosure. Doesn't sound too bad.
