NEVSUN RESOURCES LTD ("NSU-TV;NEVNF-L") - Diamond Drilling Results from Tabakoto Project,
Mali Nevsun Resources Ltd. is pleased to announce that the Company has received fire assay results
from the first five holes of the recently completed 2,200 metre oriented-core diamond drilling program
at its Tabakoto Project in western Mali. These results include several high grade intercepts that
confirm the continuity of the gold bearing structures at Tabakoto.

Fire assay results from the remaining seven diamond drill holes will be released upon receipt of
results. Bill Nielsen, General Manager, Geology for Nevsun Resources Ltd. supervised and directed all
work conducted in this drill programme. Fire assays were conducted at ABILAB Afrique de l'Ouest,
S.A.R.L. of Bamako, Mali. All assays were supervised by certified chemists who are members of the
