Deadly may have been an exageration...

depending on where you bought. I'm not dead yet, actually. I only meant to describe where we are now, not where we will be. Management may indeed be enhancing shareholder value from a long-term perspective. But in the meantime, with the big cash hoard, they aren't under much pressure, whereas shareholders are. Their approach to public relations is to let the results speak for themselves.

PCOP claims to be "accelerating the pace of drug discovery", but the date of the first IND filing from a collaborator keeps drifting into the future. This results in continuing uncertainty about the true value of the technology. I don't criticize management for that, because that decision is largely out of their control. Furthermore, the additional development time may have been put to good use. Perhaps the partners have chosen to sacrifice a little time in favor of greater optimization, so that the odds of ultimately gaining approval will be increased.

Liquidity is poor, and that discourages potential investors. Management should make an effort to broaden the shareholder base. One of these guys should devote more time and energy to raising the public profile of the company.

I have no problem with Goldstein and what they are doing on the patent front.
