Doug, I follow Aspen, but I don't own it right now. It seems to be really beaten down these days, and the pessimism about the company runs very high (esp. on the Yahoo thread). To be honest, I think most unsophisticated investors like me don't know what to make of the company. It seemed to make money hand over fist a year ago, but now it's in the toilet, and management is not explaining very well why it happened. Was it general malaise in the commodity industries (oil, chemical)or was it Y2K or what? Until that is explained better, then the turnaround story doesn't start to crystallize because management just appears to be floundering.
