<You might be correct, but again you might not be.> The resoning for my hesitancy is that it is my experience that hedge funds do transactions to make money... they put together the proposal on the prefered and undoubtedly made sure they made quite a profit... if they sell the security back they will set a price > what they think they can make by holding it and trading against it or whatever the hell they are doing. There is no doubt in my mind that they would LOVE to let you have this security back "at their price"... good luck, you'll need it dealing with these people. DAK
