This is sad.

In the release on the normal course issuer bid the company said " The Board of Directors of Star Data believes that, on occasion, common shares may become available at prices which make their purchase an attractive investment and an appropriate use of Star Data's funds."

Yeah, I know it's standard wording. But it gets sad when you look at the price movement today, the first day of the bid. We went from $4.00 to $3.75, spending almost all of the day below $4.00. Volume was poor and I think we ended the day with 100 shares on the bid.

The company does not consider its shares at $3.75 to be an attractive investment. If they don't, what are investors supposed to think?

Too many TSE companies have resisted takeovers etc. only to have their shares tank later. Of course, everyone knows they were wrong later.
