Hi Joel,
I am not familiar with the bad configuration file error. Do you know exactly what that means? What was the text of the error? How and when did it appear? BrowseMaster does not affect your browser configuration file in any way, either when it's installed or when it's running, so my guess is that the configuration file error is not related to BrowseMaster. There are 2 possibilities that come to mind:
1) If you are installing version 1.1.3.
2) If you are using the "BrowseMaster - 2nd step" icon to launch your browser and it is launching a different copy of your browser than you usually use.
