Interesting story. Scwab is paying back customers that got screwed on the opening day of Theglobe.com. People tried to cancel their market orders prior to open but Scwab was to slow and only processed 1200 of the 1500 orders. The IPO was $9 but the stock gapped open to $90, dropped to $63 by close and $32 within three days.
