I spotted this Co. 2 days ago when seeing NSR T.S.E. and its sister Co. Tintina Mines had gone from about $ .15 to .55 and $1.65.
This area was was reported in the Alberta Geological Servey in 1921
relating how gold had been found in bedrock 1000 ft. under the tar sands near Fort McMurray. in 1912 a wildcater looking for oil, churned up 8 oz. of gold in 6 inch core sample. In 1986 two holes were drilled
but no gold. A fellow by the name of Ken Richardson wondered why there was gold in 1920 but not now.He discovered there was over 3000
known methods of assaying rock then. Had dwindled to just 2 standard
techniques.Using a different technique. He claimed to have tested samples and found 390 oz of noble metals to the ton.The Geological Survey of Canada in Calgary tested the samples but was not able to find as much. But Hugh Abercrombie of G.S.C. said that 2 grams / ton
were found.According to him that is higher grade than the Hemlo gold deposites in Ontario.
Also Richardson said at the time for every oz. of gold he was finding
by using his process,he was finding 10 oz. of platinum.
This is from a story in a small local paper at the time March 16 1994.
