Market magnets 3.12.99 notes Dow: With a close here or slightly higher tomorrow and a weak weekly buy signal will be given. A strong up day will give a more clear buy signal though I do not forsee a strong up day tomorrow. A touch of 10k is likely gonna be the short term top. Nasdaq: Not likely to get a weekly buy signal. Needs to get its generals back. SP500: Weekly hold likely to remain. Mid term techs had a turndown on 1/3 of the grouping today. 3 day RSI has a IHS which stopped at the neckline today. Will take a strong open tomorrow to get it rolling through. If signs of topping occur tomorrow as the Dow feels the psychological and technical resistance of 10k I will be looking to hedge longs. Likely give the QQQ a test run as the large techs seem to have the least amount of positive undertones.
