A web site, whether used for e-commerce directly or not, is fundamental to the identity of any technology company. To have your corporate website down for three days is an indication of fundamental managerial incompetence--of the type that can lead to missed deadlines and poor production quality, that, in turn, can lead to lost revenue. There are lots of places to put one's money. I feel more comfortable investing it in a company than at least can do the basics effectively.
