Jerry, I agree - you can't argue with new highs on the dow, spx, oex and the internals improving (mclellan oscilllator/summation) however we still have a market in tension with the nasdaq and oex greatly diverging from the nyse. not healthy. at some point the balance will be restablished. the more the tension the greater the snap back.
