Exactly how do you disable the @Home browser window. I tried to change the start-up window address and the home page address with no success.

I knew that you were going to ask me that! I did it so long ago that I can't remember what I did. It seems to me that when I switched from IE to Netscape and then simply clicked on the Netscape icon, I didn't see my @Home browser again. So technically, perhaps I haven't disabled the @Home Netscape browser, it's just that I never use it. (I don't know if I'm making any sense!)

What do you do with the 127.0.0.1? When I select direct connection, does Netscape still use the parameters from the manual proxy?

I don't recall dealing with that - I hope Carole's post helps you with that one.
