I don't think anyone is "touting" the stock, I think it's just being discovered as a good potential BB technology stock. I also don't think you have much, if any, understanding of what the company does, where they're doing it or what their goals are. I will admit that it will be much nicer when they begin reporting but in the meantime I certainly don't have any complaints. Perhaps you should call IBM and ask them?
