Some duplication, but my notes on the CC:

* Cebit show next week will show case many new NSM products.

* Single chip 2.4 Ghz radio to be used in emerging wireless home networking market.

* HP scanner using scanner on a chip product. Another major OEM announcement coming soon.

* MII 366 shipping. MII 380 coming soon. MII 400 in 0.18u by the end of their Q4. The 366 and 380 made possible due to a via fix that reduced excess via resistance in certain sensitive routing paths.

* Thin client terminals from Wyse and HP use all NSM silicon. Another major thin client announcement at Cebit.

* 10 Pantera design wins. Some Chinese Pantera based DVD boxes should be hitting the shelves in three weeks.

* Very visible set top box design win to be announced in the current quarter (hinted that it will be 0.18u GXm based).

* Media PC tape out on March 22nd for targeted June availability.

* Mentioned twice that NSM is reducing their dependency on the microprocessor business. It sounded like they wanted the analysts to associate the company with their core analog and wireless businesses.

* Expect (20) to (16) cent loss for Q4.

* The current backlog is small. Need orders to keep coming in to meet prjections.

* 0.18u GXm and MII should be rolling off the line by the end of their Q4 (since the PR400 is the first 0.18u MII, I would think that we should see PR500 by summer).

* First version of Media PC will be 0.25u due to library constraints. Once the library gets migrated to 0.18u, Media PC will be migrated.

Overall, they sounded very reserved considering all the announcements that are coming. I think they are learning form AMD's mistakes, and are setting things up to beat the street in Q4. It also sounds like they want to leverage their cross liscense to differentiate themselves from AMD by being a true Intel clone (socket 370; perhaps SSE). No hype, but I was encouraged.

Pravin.
