PPOD - I don't get the fuss. If it was good business to deliver groceries home to people, why aren't grocers all over the country already doing it? Say, you drop off a list in the morning - or even a fixed weekly supply - and they cart it to your house? You won't get anyone to do that for you; it's not a viable business. The internet makes very little difference; a phone call would do the trick.

I actually remember my mom used to have groceries delivered when I was a little kid but the store soon stopped doing it. It's not hard to do it just doesn't make business sense; it's too labor intensive. To build a whole new distribution system nationwide on this idea is lunacy.
