Others may disagree with this (and they may be right) but in my experience with Datek and Etrade, if a stock is falling like IMCL was I always wait for the bounce and then place a market order. If I place limit orders (chasing the bid) then by the time I get them filled the price is usually lower than if I had simply placed a market order right away. You know, a stop limit probably was the way to go on this one. Since we were expecting 20 to 100 as an open then placing a stop limit would probably have been more efficient since if it didn't open strong then we would have gotten out of it early anyway.
