During the last few years everyone should have learned that many of the old rules of investing no longer apply, or apply only in certian instances. Whether it be from having so much money going into the market or whatever. Therefor the old dogs have to learn new tricks. It appears that there are many very respected economists who have yet to realize that and those that follow them are missing out on the AMZNs as well as the MSFTs, HDs, etc. New statistical models need to be developed and/or old ones re-evaluated before we can start talking about a high P/E being a negative thing.
