I wasn't very clear concerning the QQQ and SPY.

For the past two years I've found myself totally unable to buy and keep a stock.... the scalper mentality creeps in and makes me do too much analysis.

I know that you are quizzed daily about the market and are asked for advice from friends.
Most of yours are probably in the same eco shape that you are and therefore really are talking, but not going to take a large move based on you.

This being the small town that it is and me being known as "a stock gunslinger" (to them anyone who trades more than twice a month is rare) I get asked daily.
Now most of the ones I know are "talking" I usually give the fast shilly shally --- like
"heck, I think that a good broker will find you a good fund" type of retort.

But there are more than a few who could use to be buying something like an index fund or SPY or QQQ .....
and for that matter, I'm thinking about something like those for my kids and grandkids ...
with the new accounts I'm setting up with Brown and Sovereign, those 5 buck commish make it possible and easy.

My mind was thinking on those terms and I figured you could read my feeble thoughts .....

heck, the ones who do that --- the Basque tribe, and there you are with the Gaelic branch
