Know what I saw in the parking lot the other day? A Ford Pinto. I haven't seen one of those cute little cars in ages but I certainly haven't seen one of my favorites in years: mederle.de Oh well, some of "RACErs" really do drive "Pacers" - this is #317: ionet.net Always wanted an official pace car, this is one of the only 1,500 that were produced to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the Daytona 500 NASCAR race. This thing is supercharged (as in belt-driven blower) and man, is it fast. I've only made a few "tweaks" to it but 1/3 pedal pressure will get you from 0 - 100 in about 10 seconds. :-) Plenty of "tweaking" room left too but I drive it on the street so no reason to. The GP Club wants to get us together on the Michigan International Speedway in August - Lansing will be a long drive but if Pontiac is going to be hosting us it sounds like fun.
