Tom,

I keep on hearing that there is alot of money on the sidelines, to the point that Im also believing it. But it was interesting, that I heard on the CAPUTO report last night that one of the common analysts on CNBC(cant remember name or firm), stated that 1997 was the peak year for money inflow and that 1998 was significantly less. He also indicated that year to date the market inflows are less for same period last year.

Wonder if anyone has the actual annual and monthly data.

On the other hand, the market doesnt need a huge inflow since only a handful of stocks are moving up.
