Bonnie,

A very serious,on-going attempt to value Wind River Systems stock is in progress on this thread.

I invite you to read the posts of Allen Benn-- in particular post 326,
to begin to understand what potential some feel this company has.

There is little hype and little dependence on analysts because Dr.Benn has proven time after time to have a clearer and more accurate view of un-folding events than the analysts to whom we can compare.

Unless and until events occur to prove otherwise, I continue to believe that WIND is worth its' high valuation. It is always possible that extraneous events can temporarily upset the trading pattern of the stock, but I believe that those will be short lived.

There is not a large float and many of the shareholders seem to be investors rather than speculators. This leads to the possibility that replacing borrowed shares can be expensive when events make it necessary.Friday's action seems to support that conclusion.

There is a large body of information available in those prior posts. If you can find time, check it out.You might even decide to stay and join us in watching this young company grow, rather than chasing some NYSE stock to short.

Mitch
