Thanks Roy,
That would be an interesting scenario, and it strikes me as a good business venture, at least for the WWF. I'm somewhat discouraged by the programming of the wrestling shows, but that is secondary to business, right?
Vince McMahon appears to be an able business person, so I think it would benefit THQI. Also, it indirectly validates THQI as a business, since I doubt Vince McMahon would negeotiate a long-term 10 year deal with any company he was not fully convinced would be able to meet their part of the commitment.
We are one silly society, we clamor for violence and sex, we just have to have the gory details presented on the news, we insist on cars that can go 200 MPH in 65 MPH speed regulated zones, we demand constant excitement lest we feel "bored", at the same time we allow our personal freedoms to be stripped from us bit by bit, and then we wonder why products like Viagra have such appeal. LOL, it's a funny place in which we live. This weekend, I'm going to sit back and read a book, get good and bored, and ... well, I better not tell the rest :o)
My impression is that the industry group is the source as much as anything else for THQI's current price action. That makes me feel a lot better about the company, and my long-term investment. Thank you for the "news" Roy, if it comes to pass, I think that indeed would be a great bit of news for THQI. NO place better than Las Vegas in which to promote year-round the business of wrestling. SMART move, very smart move!!!
