Bob; I doubt if Dome leaches at 170 degrees. Mostlikely they leach at ambient which has the process water at 45-75 degree depending on the time of the year. I am sorry I gave you the impression that Dome uses any form of heated leaching. As far as I know they do in fact grind to 400 mesh, use a large vat, extract with cyanide at room temp,, adsorb with carbon, liberate with zinc and reform the carbon to go around again. But I have never seen the process in person. In fact there are several process operating at Dome. the older circuit and the new larger one that have different methods of operation with similar levels of efficiency. They als have a gravity circuit operating on the malleable non fines to extract the loose gold lumps that are hard to crush(knelson concentrator)
